Great explanations in Slide 3 and awesome sentence using the 5 interesting words! Slide 5: By using a different word that still means "sad" really makes the rest of the writing more interesting. Slide 6: These words are called "contractions" ... do you know why there are apostrophes in them ? If you need help, you can ask me or Mrs Jurlina. Slide 7: Can you have another look a these words ... a "common noun" (eg., wallet) doesn't have a capital letter (unless it is the start of a new sentence), "proper nouns" need a capital letter, eg., Mangonui, Sarah. I'm looking forward to seeing what you write in Slides 8 and 9.
